1. Texas Hold’em
This is usually just called Holdem. It’s the most popular game in poker and can be played with Limit, Pot Limit or No Limit. Each player is dealt two cards and all players share five common cards. The player with the best five card hand wins the pot.

2. Omaha Hold'em
This is similar to Hold’em and can also be played with Limit, Pot Limit or sometimes No Limit. Each player is dealt four cards and shares five.

3. Pineapple Hold’em - Crazy Pineapple
This is the middle ground between Texas Hold’em and Omaha. Players are handed three personal cards and share five common cards. The biggest difference in this game is that Pineapple players have to reject any one of their three cards. Pineapple is occasionally known as “Watermelon” because the player “spits out the seeds.”

4. Stud
There are a number of different types of Stud Poker games. The most common are Seven Card Stud, Five Card Stud and Mexican Stud. Most casinos provide Seven Card Stud.
