When it comes to playing poker, whether online or at a real casino, there are strict rules of conduct that must be followed by every person who is playing the poker game. The people in charge of managing the place in which the poker game is being conducted will do their best to ensure that everyone concerned has a positive and fun experience. However, they are not the ones responsible when it comes to the conduct of the people playing. When it comes to playing poker, there is a very strict code of conduct that must be followed at all times. If a player fails to follow these codes of conduct, he can be thrown out of the online poker room that he is playing in. Below is a list of behaviours and actions that are not allowed:
1. Collusion with any of the people playing or any kind of cheating what so ever, no matter what the form of cheating is. The most basic method for players to cheat online is through a method known as ‘player collusion’. Player collusion means that two players or more discuss amongst themselves and tell one another the cards that they are in possession of.
2. Making threats to any of the players or the employees whether by mouth or by physical means.
3. Subjecting others to distasteful or vulgar language. This is a behaviour that is simply not tolerated and players using foul language can expect to be thrown out of the game immediately.
4. Making a scene in the manner of loud yelling, screaming, cursing or causing chaos in any manner what so ever.
5. Ripping, chucking, folding or in any way defacing the cards.
6. Ruining or vandalising any aspect of the poker game.
7. Making use of any substance that is not legal.
8. Holding a weapon.
