The results have displayed a good performance despite the fact that poker is facing a bit of stagnation. Nottingham based player, Will Fry emerged as the winner in the first PokerStars European Poker Tour Hungarian Open. Fry won a staggering $759,456 (€595,839) as first prize. Owner of Absolute Poker and UltimateBet, Tokwiro Enterprises has reached a settlement with Absolute Poker’s previous owner, Excapsa Software. It will also receive $15 million as a part of the agreement because of the role played by Excapsa’s in the “superuser” cheating scandal that beleaguered UltimateBet this year. Read more
