Adam Levy Newest Face of Ultimate Bet

Ultimate Bet unveiled their latest team member, Adam Levy, on Tuesday. He will now share the poker table with some of Ultimate Bet’s star players, such as Cliff ‘JohnnyBax’ Josephy, James ‘POKERPR033’ Campbell, Tiffany Michelle and Tracy Scala. Levy is probably famous for being shouted at by Phil Hellmuth, as the ‘Internet Donkey,’ during the ESPN featured table of the 2008 World Series of Poker main event.

But it is a little known fact that Levy is one of the most accomplished players to participate in the Texas Hold’em on the Internet. He has won more that $1.6 million in online tournaments. He also displayed his supreme skills at the 2008 World Series, by cashing five times. He finished 48th in the main event, making sure that he caught the eye of a few sponsors.

Levy said that through the course of the main event his manager informed him about some different Logo Deals. Finally, they began a dialogue with Ultimate Bet. He also said that he appreciated some of the things that were discussed and also agreed to wear their outfit for the rest of the event. It was only after the World Series of Poker that negotiations for a long term deal began between the two parties.

Annie Duke, Ultimate Bet’s Card Room Consultant, said that an Ultimate Bet Star Player is someone with high skill, integrity and is respected world over. She believed that Levy had these credentials. He in turn was excited to join the team as the fifth member.

Levy would be playing at various tournaments on Ultimate Bet as ‘Roothlus.’ The site has off late been under fire for a cheating scandal carried out by its former owner. Levy expressed that he would like to take the site in a new and positive direction, under its new ownership.
