Florida Gamblers look forward for Powerball Lottery and Drawings move to Florida in January
Gamblers in Florida will have the opportunity to get excited as the Powerball Lottery jackpot continues to grow toward the $100 million mark. The lottery will begin in January as the state lottery officials have confirmed the news.
According to Leo DiBenigno, Florida Lottery Secretary, the lottery will constantly revaluate it options and will adjust the market place like any other business.
Florida will also become the host location for the drawings. The exact location of the drawings will be somewhere in state of Florida as it has not been determined yet.
The drawings will move to Florida at the beginning of the next year as they are currently held in Iowa at 10:59 P.M Eastern time on Wednesday and Saturday. The timings will remain same when it moves to Florida.
Governor Jeb Bush did not allow the game ten years ago when Florida was considering offering Powerball Lottery. He said that it would hinder and take away from games offered already within the state. Powerball now will enhance the state offerings with the recent development.
