PKR and Lovestruck Collaboration Successful
Online Poker site PKR.com recently teamed up with Lovestruck.com and came up with a night of poker, fun and games on Thursday. This joint pioneering venture was called ‘Singles Poker Night.’ There were many single men and women who got together to make the event successful at London’s über-cool Hoxton Pony bar.
More than a hundred and fifty people were reported to have been present at the event. Most of them also tried to play some poker in a gathering that went well in to the night. This successful event marks the beginning of an ongoing collaboration between the poker site and the dating site.
‘Lovestruck Evenings,’ would begin on November 17 and would be held on every Monday on PKR.com. The event has been specially created for the working population of the two sites. The events will give players a chance to forge new ties and continue relationships in a cool and fun way. Every ‘Lovestruck Evening’ would begin at 8pm with a freeroll and then three low buy-in tournaments.
In order to participate the players have to be registered with Lovestruck.com so that they can get their weekly password and log on to PKR.com to play in the tournaments. PKR Marketing Manager, Erika Schwartz said that the night was very enjoyable and the turnout was also fantastic. She also said that poker is a very social game and also a great way to meet people in a friendly and fun environment.
